Sunbeam seeks sunshine

This one was a non-runner when we collected it a few weeks ago (did we mention we offer a trailering service for project cars?) and we’ve been working our way through a job list designed to bring it back to roadworthy in time for the summer season.

Tasks have included an electric fuel pump (pictured) and a deeply involved effort to replace a rotten core plug at the back of the engine – something that forced the removal of the gearbox! Car is now running sweetly and almost ready for the right weather.
