Fast road Morris Minor

‘Jaguar, Aston Martin, Lotus and iconic British sports cars’ it says on the homepage of this website, but that doesn’t mean we don’t turn our hand to interesting ‘lesser’ projects. Except ‘lesser’, in this case, is something of a misnomer – yes, it’s a Morris Minor, but it’s a long-term project we’ve taken on for a customer who wants fast road spec for reliable (and rapid) daily use.

It’s one of two Minor restorations we’re working on for clients, each using period parts to create something way beyond the potential Issigonis had in mind when he designed his little ‘poached egg’. This car is receiving serious upgrades to suspension and brakes, plus other fettling for performance. We’ll return to this project as it unfolds.
