A bit of ‘period correct’

There’s nothing wrong with an upgrade. We regularly fit uprated parts with more of a modern flavour to classics – improving reliability or performance – but it always has to look right. This is a Pertronix Flame-Thrower coil we fitted to a customer’s Lotus Cortina, chosen in a chrome finish and with period ‘Lucas’ stickers applied to blend in when bonnet is open.
